Customers are driven to get in and out—Monnit’s ALTA® Wireless Vehicle Detect-Counter Sensor collects the data that accelerates service. Count traffic that’s coming and going. Or detect (and track) vehicle time in a service bay or a curbside retail spot.

Housed in a weathertight enclosure, this sensor’s industry-leading 1,200’ range eliminates cords and limited access posed by competing sensors. Once anchored to a parking spot, entrance, or service bay, the dual-mode sensor can:

Monitor bay entrance and exit times
Alert of vehicle arrival or departure
Track area access
Analyze and compare vehicle service times per bay, tech, or franchise

Count vehicles entering/exiting a specific point
Track traffic at self-serve facilities
Study customer behavior throughout the day
Manage fleets

This vehicle detect sensor can alert users (via text, email, or call) if a monitored variable, such as excessive wait times, exceeds user-set limits. It is also configurable for vehicle axle count—ideal for municipal and commercial fleets. The device does not record steps on the 9’ detection hose.
