How does it work?

This enterprise-grade sensor emits a high-frequency pulse and measures its return time to determine distance. Impervious to color or target surface, the sensor compensates for temperature and humidity to provide accurate level measurement or object detection. If a tank's or container's level deviates from user-determined thresholds or an object is detected (e.g., a truck), an alert is issued via text, email, or call.

The AA battery-powered sensor deploys within 15 minutes—there is no wiring to a separate power source. Sensor options include an on/off switch or line power with AA battery backup (and an on/off switch).
