wireless AA open/closed sensor

Wireless Open-Closed Sensors

Proactively prevent spoilage, damage, or theft.

These popular ALTA® Wireless and Next™ Wi-Fi Open-Closed Sensors help you remotely monitor door, window, cabinet, or lid status. Get an alert via text, email, or call if something’s been left ajar or accessed when it shouldn’t.

An Elegantly Simple Security Solution

The Monnit Open-Closed Sensor uses an external switch and trigger magnet to detect status—when the magnets meet, a door or window is closed. The sensor can be configured via iMonnit only to send notifications during specific dayparts, such as after-hours. Data also sheds light on access patterns—a boon for the food service, healthcare, and hospitality sectors.

Ready for restaurant walk-ins, vaccine fridges or ultralow temperature (ULT) freezers, retail, and more, Monnit Open-Closed Sensor types include compact, Wi-Fi-enabled, Power over Ethernet (PoE), and long-range wireless low-profile enterprise or industrial devices. We also offer a variety of options to tailor these sensors to your needs.
