Data Plan Details
The ALTA IoT Gateway contains a cellular radio which passes sensor data via a cellular network to the Monnit servers.
You may purchase data plans directly from Monnit or source your own from a third-party carrier. If you purchase the
data plan directly from Monnit, you will receive a $110 discount off the IoT Gateway MSRP.
If you purchase a data plan from a third party, Monnit will charge the full MSRP of the gateway.
Monnit charges $10/month for two years, at which point a new contract will be implemented. Customers paying monthly will be
required to provide a credit card for billing – we don’t accept purchase orders for monthly charges. If you wish to pay with a
purchase order, please contact a sales representative to set up annual billing or prepay the entire amount.
