iMonnit HX: Faster Sensor
Data Reporting

The new iMonnit^® HX platform allows sensors to report data as quickly as every minute. Previously, Monnit Wireless Sensors could only be configured for heartbeat intervals of 10 minutes or greater in the iMonnit Premiere software.

iMonnit HX enables Monnit Wireless Sensors to have up to 1,440 heartbeats per day for a near-continual flow of valuable data, which is ideal for mission-critical operations.

• Faster data reporting yields insight on valuable metrics, such as critical temperatures or machine bearing performance, to optimize operations and processes.

Manufacturers can use iMonnit HX to alleviate costly repairs or economize operations by better regulating heavy machine usage. Smaller operations, such as pharmacies, can use one-minute heartbeats to closely monitor substances vulnerable to spoilage through exposure to minute temperature variations.

iMonnit HX offers users the choice of three pre-paid sensor heartbeat transmission tiers of 250,000, 1.3 million, or 5.5 million credits. Credits are only utilized when faster heartbeats are necessary.

Always-on Wireless Tilt Detection Sensor

The ​ ALTA^® Wireless Tilt Detection Sensor tracks the position (pitch) of mission-critical machinery, access barriers, and heavy equipment arms. If the sensor detects an abnormal position caused by unauthorized access or a stuck mechanism, supervisors are instantly alerted via text, email, or call.

Monnit’s Tilt Detection Sensor automatically reports, in degrees, when moved beyond configured angles. With a measurement accuracy of 0.5°, the sensor can identify if a boom arm is breached or a safeguard has failed.

• The USA-made sensor can also be configured to monitor the raise/lower time of machinery such as an arm or bay door, enabling users to identify seizing hydraulics or motors.

Applications include commercial parking gates, railroad safety systems, oil rig mechanisms, and farming equipment. Initial users have reported that the Tilt Detection Sensor helped protect people and assets by identifying ailing equipment.

As an “always watching” device, the battery-powered Tilt Detection Sensor eliminates wiring into existing power systems for a fast,15-minute install and greater reliability. The sensor has a battery life of 4+ years (2 AA batteries).
