Kaysville, Utah – Dec. 14, 2010 – Monnit Corporation (www.monnit.com) today announced the immediate availability of three new low cost wireless sensors designed for commercial, industrial and consumer applications.  The new sensors compliment Monnit's existing line of low-cost wireless sensors and include the following:

• The wireless humidity sensor can be used to monitor relative humidity and temperature for critical applications with a low and high threshold setting.
• The wireless dry contact sensor can be used to detect contact between two wired contact points.  This sensor can be used with an external mechanical switch or a contact plate.
• The wireless analog sensor allows for integration of external sensors to the Monnit wireless communication protocol.  The system will output raw data from the user's analog sensor.

In addition to the launch of these three new wireless sensors, Monnit has also enhanced its Sensor Monitoring Software to include a sensor mapping tool and an advertisement generation tool.

The sensor mapping tool allows  users to upload a graphic of their facility and graphically tag a sensor graphic on top of the facility image to serve as a visual map of where sensors have been placed.  By clicking on the sensor graphics within this tool you have immediate access to the sensors'  last readings and configuration data.

The advertisement generation tool allows Monnit resellers to create and push advertisements to their customers through sensor triggered events such as a water sensor that creates an on-screen or email advertisement for a local plumber in the event of leaking pipes.
